all:my:faults is an Experimental Industrial Metal Band.
Well, I founded a:m:f (to be shorter in the text 
) on march 13th, 2003 I guess… after I left my old alternative band called ‘Somaside‘ – later ‘Siamese‘ (after my time there) where I did the backings and played bass. But I always had ideas that didn’t quite fit in an alternative combo and after I disbanded from the guys, I started writing more of my own music, which was at the beginning very electronic and dark.
After two years of working alone, I finally found joe:riot, who was willing to play a major role in this project. The whole style went in a harder direction on the contrary to my older records, with much more metal influences and joe:riot, who’s working for several well-known bands as graphic artist, is even responsible for our logo and artworks.
After the album neo.NøiR I tried to get more influences of my loved music into a:m:f’s style. Even further away of the dark and gothic style with which the whole thing started.
Well, you must know, I never pigeonholed the band into gothic or darkwave as it’s often called – I guess it’s because of the mood most of the songs from the older stuff were. They’re written in a time where I was in a real bad shape. And I experimented with a lot of electronical sounds… but back to the present!
With first.aid.killed.the.jerboa we took a step forward on the way we started on neo.NøiR – what you hear is the next generation of our music… and the next material is already waiting in the wings.
